Nursery – Bright Horizons Hinckley – Early Years Practitioner

Salary: £28,072.90+ per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Hinckley LE10 1YG

Bright Horizons Hinckley Day Nursery and Preschool offers a vibrant, purpose‑built setting designed to provide exceptional care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery features five spacious rooms and a beautifully refurbished adventure garden tailored to different age groups, promoting outdoor learning and exploration.


Role Overview

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and foster a lifelong love of learning.


Responsibilities

* Plan, design, deliver and assess learning activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
* Create and maintain a safe, stimulating environment that encourages children’s development.
* Support children in achieving EYFS milestones and record progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents/carers to support each child’s learning.
* Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies.


Qualifications

* Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
* Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Solid knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
* Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
