Project Support Officer Salary - £29,093 - £32,654 (Grade 5) Hours - 37 hours per week Contract type - Full time, permanent The City of Wolverhampton Council has an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our Housing Development Team. We are seeking a committed and experienced Project Support Officer to join our Housing Development Team. You will be expected to work flexibly to ensure that high quality support is always provided, enabling housing development projects to progress effectively. Role responsibilities: Contributing and supporting the Housing Development Project Managers in the planning and execution of housing projects Preparing and keeping appropriate records including minutes of meetings, agendas and action trackers Providing written and verbal progress reports to stakeholders as requested on items included within the work programme Organising meetings and helping to arrange and attend resident consultation/engagement events in connection with housing regeneration and development schemes Preparation of letters, leaflets and other publicity material Being aware of various funding sources to assist housing led regeneration initiatives and to assist in preparation of bids to secure funding for identified projects Role requirements: GCSE AC or equivalent in three subjects or relevant equivalent experience. Excellent written, oral, and organisational skills to develop systems and procedures that will support the effective running of the team. Highly competent in the use of ICT and have experience of resident engagement and consultation. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the service Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a range of partners, stakeholders, contractors and residents. The post will require travel to housing and regeneration sites and occasional attendance at evening meetings. Some roles are agile which enable and empower employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocated where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location.
