A Secondary PRU in Ferryhill is looking to recruit a Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with students who require behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day. The Role: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Building positive relationships with learners Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons Supporting behaviour plans and emotional wellbeing strategies Helping students develop confidence and resilience What We're Looking For: Experience working with children or young people is advantageous Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations Strong interpersonal skills A positive and proactive attitude Full-time availability This role is ideal for candidates considering careers in education, youth work, counselling or social care.
