As a Home Care Worker, you will support individuals with daily living tasks they may find challenging.

It is essential to have experience working in a care setting, delivering intimate personal care, or in an informal or personal capacity.
You should be aware of long-term conditions and their impact, able to monitor and report changes in service users' needs, and capable of forming positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
We seek caring, compassionate, patient, and professional individuals with a responsible approach to sensitive information and a drive to make a difference.
You should demonstrate reliability and flexibility, with the ability to work shifts, independently, and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to monitor and report changes in the needs of those you support.
If successful, you will receive training, a uniform, and all necessary personal protective equipment, including a smartphone, to perform your role safely and effectively.
We currently have roles available in the following areas of Renfrewshire:
* Foxbar
* Hawkhead
* Ralston
* Whitehaugh
* Renfrew
Contract options include:
* 21 hours per week, with a combination of early (07:00-13:00) and back shifts (16:00-22:00).
* 35 hours split shift, working early and back shifts on a rotating weekly schedule:
* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday (07:00-12:00 or 08:00-13:00 and 16:00-21:00 or 17:00-22:00)
* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (same shift times as Week 1)
Please note:
* This role requires obtaining Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration within 6 months of employment.
* You must have or be able to attain SVQ Level 2 in Care or an equivalent qualification at SCQF Level 5 or above.
* This position is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the PVG Scheme. The successful candidate will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership prior to employment.
