This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a busy school environment, playing a key role in maintaining and developing the school's ICT infrastructure. Whether you come from a school, public sector, or private IT background, your practical and organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve technical issues will be valued. The Role: You will support the day-to-day running and long-term development of the school’s ICT systems across both curriculum and administrative functions. Duties include: Maintaining and supporting the school’s computer networks, servers, and user systems Providing first- and second-line technical support to staff and students Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues Supporting the maintenance of electronic communication systems Managing peripheral devices (printers, projectors, AV equipment, etc.) Assisting in the development of new ICT solutions to meet evolving school needs Ensuring all ICT support activity complies with data protection, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations Occasional travel to nearby schools within the same Trust (mileage reimbursed) Ideal Candidate Profile: Previous experience in ICT support or technical maintenance (education sector preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, networking, and troubleshooting Organised, methodical, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to support users at all levels Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a wider team Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of service and professionalism Sensitive to the needs of students and staff in a school setting Full UK work eligibility – visa sponsorship is not available for this role Appointment subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.
