What you’ll do:
Acts as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third‑party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.
1. Manages scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and maintenance programme requirements.
2. Controls and monitors Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating required spares, tooling and documentation.
3. Supports aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty‑time limitations.
4. Provides real‑time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers during in‑flight or ground‑based operational issues.
5. Coordinates information flow following aircraft incidents and contributes to recovery planning.
6. Allocates aircraft in line with operational, engineering and maintenance priorities.
7. Responsible for improving aircraft and Engineering performance through proactive use of Aircraft monitoring and prognostic tools
8. Provides specialist technical support as required with due regard for safety, technical, regulatory and commercial requirements.

What We’re Looking For:
16. UK/EASA Part‑66 B1 or B2 Licence
17. Experience in a maintenance or maintenance‑control environment
18. Proven ability to deliver cost‑effective solutions
19. Experience improving efficiency and reducing operational costs
20. Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes
21. Good understanding of airline operations and procedures
22. Computer literate, ideally with experience in MS Office and maintenance systems
23. Experience working on Embraer 170/190 or similar technology aircraft is desirable but not essential
About our offer:
Salary up to £78,000 (inclusive of shift pay).

28. This full-time role will be based in our Head Office, Didsbury, Manchester and is a shift-based role.
