Electrical Estimator ? Location: Kent (office-based once established) ? Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) ? Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are working on behalf of a well-established industrial and commercial electrical contractor who is looking to appoint an Electrical Estimator as part of a continued growth plan. This is a long-term opportunity within a stable business, offering exposure to a varied workload across new works and ongoing small works / variations. The role will be predominantly office-based at the client's head office in Kent, once fully up to speed. The Role As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing and supporting a wide range of electrical projects across industrial and commercial sectors. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, suppliers, and clients throughout the tender process. This position is a growth hire, not a replacement. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate, competitive electrical estimates for new works and variations Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Manage bids from enquiry stage through to tender submission Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain compliant pricing Produce tender clarifications, exclusions, and assumptions Support commercial and project teams during pre- and post-tender stages Maintain high standards of accuracy while working to deadlines Projects & Sectors Industrial electrical projects Commercial electrical installations Non-residential work Mix of new works and small works / variations Software & Systems Experience with Extreme Estimating advantageous Currently transitioning to Ensign Estimating Familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools preferred About You Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator Strong understanding of electrical regulations and legislation Good working knowledge of tendering and estimating processes Basic understanding of construction contracts High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively within a team Professional, reliable, and aligned with long-term career development Package & Benefits Salary £60,000 - £80,000 (firm range) Company vehicle or paid travel Performance-related bonus structure Workplace pension Paid annual leave Ongoing training and professional development Employee ownership benefits through EOT structure Why Apply?
