We are currently working in partnership with a local Council based in Essex, who are looking to appoint a Private Sector Housing Manager on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position, offering around 4 days working from home a week, based in Colchester. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of private sector housing and good people focus. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Managing a team of 9, made up of Private Sector Housing Officers Developing and delivering the council’s private sector housing strategy Led on policies relating to housing standards, licensing, and enforcement Monitoring local housing conditions and identifying priority areas Managing budgets and allocating resources effectively Producing reports for senior management and elected members Experience required: Knowledge of PSH Court experience Working hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday 1 day in the office a week Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
