We are dedicated to supporting our Origination and Distribution teams in successfully buying, selling, and syndicating transactions in the market. If you have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!\n\nPurpose of the Role\nAs a Loan Closer, you will ensure that loan documentation is effectively structured and aligned with key credit terms and conditions.
You will be pivotal in supporting our EMEA marketing areas by registering all limit-related transactions in our booking systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the Origination and Distribution teams with timely execution of documentation for Primary Syndication and Secondary Trading transactions.\nReview and understand syndicated credit agreements, focusing on transfer mechanics.\nNegotiate and draught Loan Market Association (LMA) standard documents and other trade-related documents, including confirmations and assignment agreements.\nCoordinate with internal and external legal counsel to agree on proposed changes to trade documents.\nIdentify and escalate issues to front office trading teams, internal legal counsel, and operations management.\nWork directly with counterparties and internal partners to resolve issues and ensure timely closure of transactions.\nCreate and understand key metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on trade populations.\nCoordinate timely and precise trade settlements with various settlement groups across the organisation.\nReview and approve all lending documentation, ensuring compliance with agreed procedures.\nExecute consistency checks between lending documentation and credit approval, providing sign-off on Key Terms & Conditions.\nDevelop procedures and business process flows for unstructured transactions in collaboration with Front Office & Finance Departments.\nEscalate risk issues impacting transactions from both an internal policy and regulatory perspective.\nProvide technical operational expertise to support successful transaction completion.\nChallenge and influence changes to enhance business performance and establish best practises. \n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nExperience in the financial services environment, with exposure to loan, trade, and derivative documentation.\nExcellent understanding of LMA documentation and the full suite of primary and secondary loan closing activities.\nSubject matter expertise in loan transfer documentation and settlements, along with knowledge of Loan IQ and ClearPar.\nStrong working knowledge of KYC and compliance procedures.\nAbility to develop and motivate staff in line with our organisational framework and core values.\nStrategic thinker who can drive team performance aligned with organisational goals.\nStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and take initiative.\nProactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service to both internal and external customers. \n\nJoin Us\nIf you are ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply.\n\nApply Today!\nTake your career to the next level with us.
