Our client is a specialist in innovative downhole technology for the global energy industry. They design and manufacture tools to solve current and emerging challenges for the oil and gas and energy transition sectors, including gas storage, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen storage and geothermal production.
This is an exciting time to join them as they embark on a programme of growth. They are looking for an experienced and hands on Test Engineer to join their expanding team based in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Job Role:
1. The management of their NPD testing facilities and the development of them to support the company transition towards becoming the market leader in CT well intervention and well barriers
2. Perform design verification and function testing and aid in the development of prototype and existing products
3. Undertake function and validation testing against industry performance standards, such as ISO and API
4. Provide customers with advice, tool training (both servicing and operational) and guidance on how to run the tools
5. Lead pre-commercial and early in-field customer deployments of new products
