Job Summary
The Dining Room Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our residents. This position involves overseeing the dining are and ensuring that service standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily dining room operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
* Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure quality and adherence to safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and address any issues that may arise during service.
* Maintain inventory of dining supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
* Uphold health and safety standards within the dining area, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in hospitality, restaurant,care settings, with a preference for those who have:
* Experience in food preparation and meal presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential. The Dining Room Assistant should be enthusiastic about fostering an inviting atmosphere for our residents to enjoy their meals.
