Bexley Intensive Older People Home Treatment Team is a multidisciplinary team providing mental health crisis services during weekdays (8am-8pm) and weekends (9am-5pm) for older adults. The service aims to offer an effective alternative to inpatient care by delivering intensive clinical work over short periods to prevent admission or enable early discharge.
The team collaborates closely with crisis services, Mental Health Liaison, Crisis line, inpatient and community mental health teams, local authorities, and emergency services.
The post holder will provide line management, clinical and operational leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective collaboration with clinical and partnership agencies. Responsibilities include coordinating team activities, supervising junior staff, leading clinical and strategic projects, data collection, managing staff deployment and rotas, and contributing to service development and financial management.
