Compensation
Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments.
Hours
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
Responsibilities
* Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
* Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
* Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
* Making customer‑focused decisions and completing key store routines.
* Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
* A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
* Building rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
* Using your initiative to make the right decisions for customers.
* Working well in a team and communicating openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
