We’re looking for a Senior Designer who’s ready to bring fresh ideas to life and elevate our creative work.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Designer who is driven by visual storytelling and understands the nuances of brand identity across all channels, and across every media from print and motion to digital and experiential.

As a Senior Designer at McCann, you’ll play a key role in conceptualising and executing compelling designs for a wide range of campaigns. You’ll work closely with the wider team, including Art Directors, Copywriters, and Account Managers, to deliver work that not only meets client objectives but exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Creative Direction: Help lead and inspire our team of designers on a variety of projects, from design ideation through to final execution.
* Design Excellence :Produce high-quality visuals, layouts, and assets for a range of formats, including digital, print, motion, social media, out-of-home advertising, and so much more.
* Concept Development: Collaborate on and contribute to campaign ideation, bringing fresh, innovative ideas that align with brand objectives.
* Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings to present creative concepts and articulate design decisions with confidence and professionalism.
* Mentorship: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team environment.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure brand guidelines and visual identity standards are consistently applied across all projects.
* Stay Current: Keep up with design trends, tools, and best practices to maintain our agency’s position at the cutting edge of creative work.

Qualifications:

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools. Experience with motion design is an absolute essential.
* Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across different media, with a clear understanding of brand storytelling and campaign work.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions confidently.
* Team-Oriented: A collaborative spirit, able to work well with cross-functional teams and nurture creative talent within the team.
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, typography, and layout, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Hunger: A design magpie. A knowledge ferret. A truth hunter-gatherer. A Style Forager.
