 
        
        We are recruiting for a Senior Electronics Engineer for a successful British manufacturer of USB Chargers, DC-DC voltage converters, and power supplies serving the communications, rail, automotive and marine markets.
The company design and manufacture all its own products, supplying to markets across the world. 
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (39 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
 1. Design and develop switched-mode power supply products from the initial conception through to production.
 2. Lead and collaborate with a small cross-functional team of engineers
 3. Generate product specifications, designs, and test methods
 4. Troubleshooting faults in prototype and production units
 5. Design of production test systems for new products
 6. Estimate and deliver technical development to tight timescales
 7. Provide expertise during product roadmap development
 8. Mentor developing engineers
Candidate Requirements:
 9. Degree qualified in an Electronics Engineering field
 10. 5+ years experience of electronic circuit design, preferably analogue or power electronics, in a relevant industry
 11. Design power supply circuits (DC-DC, AC-DC), microcontroller-based systems, and communication interfaces
 12. Schematic design experience and some experience of PCB layout
 13. Experience of testing and debugging prototype electronic designs
 14. Experience of design for manufacturing techniques
 15. Experience of regulatory standards and approval process, EMC, LVD, etc.
 16. Ability to work independently or as part of a team as a technical lead
 17. Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
 18. Excellent communication skills
