We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team at Brecon Medical Centre. The role is part‑time, 20 hours per week, working alongside military and civilian healthcare professionals and administrative staff.

Main duties of the job
The physiotherapist will provide comprehensive, professional physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for entitled personnel. This includes highly skilled work in musculoskeletal, sports and training injury areas, peer review, and supporting other physiotherapists and Exercise Rehabilitation Instructors.
Job Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose and formulate appropriate treatment plans using evidence‑based practice and manual assessment techniques.
* Communicate effectively with patients to ensure informed consent and build therapeutic relationships.
* Liaise with multidisciplinary colleagues and advise medical officers on specialist physiotherapy recommendations.
* Manage and prioritise your own clinical caseload efficiently.
* Provide complex clinical reports, including prognosis and onward referrals.
* Participate in CPD activities and regular in‑service training sessions.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Memberships
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP).
* State‑registered physiotherapist (HPC).
* A degree or qualified diploma in physiotherapy.
* Completed courses equivalent to graduate diploma level of study.
Experience
* Relevant experience in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions.
* Post‑graduate clinical experience.

Compensation
£37,338 to £44,962 a year (pro‑rated for part‑time)
