English and Maths Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths tutoring sessions to students Assess students' abilities and create tailored lesson plans to meet their learning needs Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their English and Maths skills Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success Required Qualifications: A degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) Demonstrated experience in tutoring English and Maths Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field Experience: Proven experience in tutoring English and Maths Experience working with students of various ages and abilities Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the English and Maths curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process Organisational skills and the ability to plan effective lessons Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field Previous experience teaching in a school or educational institution Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions Temporary position with the possibility of extension Work closely with students in a one-on-one or small group setting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
