About this Role
We are recruiting for a Field Sales Executive to join Dawsongroup Vans, responsible for delivering sustainable new business growth across your assigned territory. Reporting to the Regional Head of Sales, this role balances hands‑on individual sales performance with driving business development through nationally agreed processes and procedures.
* Deliver agreed quarterly and annual new business targets across revenue, volume and profit.
* Build, manage and convert a robust sales pipeline across local and national accounts.
* Identify and pursue new opportunities through prospecting, referrals and networking.
* Act as the local figurehead for Dawsongroup Vans, strengthening brand presence in your territory.
* Lead by example to ensure strong cooperation across business units and alignment to national policy.
About You
You are a commercially focused new business sales professional who thrives on winning, developing and retaining profitable customers. You understand that sustainable growth comes from service excellence, strong financial returns and disciplined pipeline management, not simply increasing fleet size.
* Proven track record in field-based B2B sales, ideally within vans, fleet, rental or contract hire.
* Strong pipeline management skills with clear tracking, forecasting and conversion focus.
* Ability to build excellent working relationships across teams and functions.
* Commercially astute with a focus on profitability as well as revenue growth.
* Committed to compliance, safety, environmental standards and ethical business practice.
