MECs Sales and Lettings are seeking a highly motivated and talented Social Media Apprentice to join our fun and dynamic team. The successful candidate will help contribute to developing and implementing social media strategies to drive engagement and traffic to our website. The role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook and Google Ads. The Social Media Apprentice will work closely with the Videographer and Drone Pilot and be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content, including Instagram reels, as well as managing paid social media campaigns.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with the Planning and creation of content strategies – market research, competitor SEO anaylis, launching and managing paid social media ad campaigns with measurable goals. Understanding the data of campaign performance and relaying that to the stakeholders. You would be keeping up to date with trends and developments in social media and implementing these into our strategy.
2. Short-form video content – create and edit educational video content that adds value to boost audience engagement through the use of Instagram reels, Tik-Tok and YouTube shorts. You would need a strong ability to use CapCut, Splice and built-in editor tools in Instagram and YouTube.
3. Create Professional Graphics – using Adobe Create Suite, PremierPro and Canva, produce still and animated graphics for marketing ad campaigns, website improvements and YouTube/Instagram covers, promotional offers.
4. SEO Techniques – Strengthen our online presence and increase visibility through effective keyword research, website improvements through optimising content for both website landing pages and blogs.
5. Copywriting – long and short form copy for social media platforms, promotional campaigns, storytelling and business updates with newsletters and weekly blogs for the sales, letting and community content. You would be working very closely with ChatGPT.
6. Effective email marketing – using our CRM create, plan and deliver successful email marketing campaigns that drive results.
7. Campaign performance & evaluation of success – be hands on with this initiative and produce measurable metrics and data to Analyse content performance and make recommendations for improvements on future marketing projects.

8. Knowledge in copywriting, social media content creation, and social media advertising. Knowledge in SEO, PPC and google console.
9. Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and Google Ads
10. Understanding of CapCut, PremierPro and Canva
11. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
12. Forward-thinking and ability to work with Ai Apps like ChatGPT
13. Strong organisational and project management skills
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
15. Ability to take initiative and work independently
16. Must hold a valid driving license.
