The Role
As a Performing Arts Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students in drama, music, and dance, while helping them develop practical skills, creativity, and performance confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Teaching Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4
2. Delivering lessons in drama, music, and dance, including performance and theory
3. Supporting students with coursework, performances, and assessments
4. Planning differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
5. Encouraging creativity, collaboration, and self-expression
6. Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
7. Working collaboratively within the Performing Arts / Arts department

Requirements
To be considered for this Performing Arts Teacher role, you will need:
14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
15. Experience teaching Performing Arts at KS3 and/or KS4
16. Strong subject knowledge in drama, music, and/or dance
17. Confident classroom and performance space management skills
18. A passion for creative education and student engagement
19. Eligibility to work in the UK
20. A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or Arts specialists.
