We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PSV Transport Manager to oversee our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of passengers, managing a team of drivers, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in optimising our transport processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities
* Manage daily transport operations, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
* Supervise and lead a team of drivers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance.
* Develop and implement transport policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards.
* Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition for operation.
* Analyse transport costs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
* Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments to coordinate logistics activities effectively.
* Prepare reports on transport operations, including performance metrics, incidents, and compliance issues for senior management review.
* Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure best practices are followed within the transport department.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a PSV Transport Manager.
* Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Proficient in using transport management software and Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* A valid driving licence; experienced PSV driver is advantageous.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* This is a flexible roll, ideal for someone looking for part time / ADHOC work, or a full time position. For full time applicants, the role can be split between 3 days on the road and 2 days in the office.
