In this role, you will work closely with Regional and Brand teams across the UK & Ireland to report and control actual and budgeted financial performance at both detailed and consolidated levels. Provide forward looking financial insight, actively challenge business assumptions, and deliver value adding management reporting with a strong business segment focus. Your package will include: Competitive salary based on experience 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays Additional holiday entitlement for long service milestones Company pension scheme (6% employer contribution, minimum 4% employee contribution) Access to discounts from major UK brands “Recommend a Friend” bonus scheme Eligibility for Employee Incentive Schemes Tasks and Qualifications: Responsibilities Ownership of allocated Region/Brand, including delivery of controlling and reporting responsibilities, while also providing subject matter expertise and specialist support within your designated business stream Preparation and delivery of monthly Flash reporting and the Management Accounts packs, including clear and insightful commentary on actual performance versus forecast Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality management and operational information across the business, providing analytical reporting and insightful commentary to support budget holders in the effective management of revenue, EBIT, and cash flow targets Support Business Controllers in decision making processes, including finance policies, systems, process reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives Drive improvements in financial control processes to establish efficient, effective, and consistent ways of working across all Regions, supporting the achievement of defined performance targets Support the month end close in line with Fast Close deadlines, tracking actual results versus forecast and proactively highlighting risks and variances, in close collaboration with other Management Accountants Maintain purchase order controls, including daily buyback PO releases and follow up on disposal routes; monitoring bill plan PO accruals and validity and reviewing overhead PO releases Ensure consistent follow up and monitoring of delivered‑not‑invoiced positions for new and used truck sales Perform monthly balance sheet risk reviews, with specific focus on provisions and exposures, including sales deductions Review and follow up on Regional Stock reports, including forecasts and disposal routes and preparation of reports to support quarterly stock takes Set and maintain internal rates and assessment cycle rules in line with Group and local finance requirements Undertake ad‑hoc tasks as required We’re looking for someone who is a qualified Accounting professional with prior proven experience in an analytical and Management Accounting role, that is at least an intermediate user of MS Excel (additionally SAP experience preferred but not essential) and is confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
