Consultant Psychiatrist Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
Join us as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, based in Bromley. We are seeking an experienced professional to provide high-quality mental health services within our Bromley Mental Health HUB.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct new assessments and follow-up clinics, including assessments for urgent cases.
2. Prescribe medication, perform home visits, and undertake Mental Health Act assessments as required.
3. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
4. Review triaged cases and develop initial care plans for new referrals.
5. Ensure care delivery aligns with individual care/treatment plans, with regular reviews and risk assessments.

The Pathways of Care aim to provide seamless support to individuals and their carers, promoting recovery and reducing relapse risks. The service emphasizes effective communication with primary care, acute services, community services, and other agencies.

Additional Requirements
The post holder should be a Responsible Clinician or willing to undertake training for Section 12(2) MHA, with renewal as per procedures. The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision to a GPVTS trainee within the team.
