Are you an experienced HR professional ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner to lead our HR function across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience and support our mission-driven work, ensuring our values are at the heart of everything we do.
What you’ll do:
* Lead and develop the HR team across Ireland, working closely with colleagues across the UK to deliver a consistent, high-quality HR service.
* Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to support local Mission priorities and ensure best practice in people management.
* As a member of the Operational Boards, you will influence key business decisions and strategies. Driving the development and delivery of HR strategy, adapting territory-wide policies to local needs.
* Provide expert employee relations support, working effectively with trade unions and ensuring compliance with employment law.
* Use data to inform decision-making and develop HR systems and processes.
* Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance in line with The Salvation Army’s values.
What you’ll bring:
* Excellent communication skills and passion to drive positive change and consistency across the jurisdictions, using use data to drive improvements.
* Strong expertise in HR matters and employment law, with the ability to advise managers through to board members on complex HR issues.
* Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
* The ability to work and travel across both jurisdictions, we expect a minimum of 40% of working time in ROI & 20% in NI.
