About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Graduate Interior Space Planner
to join our design team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about interior design, spatial planning, and creating functional, aesthetically pleasing environments. You will assist in developing space plans, preparing design presentations, and supporting senior designers in delivering projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in developing and preparing space planning layouts, floor plans, and 3D visualisations.
* Support the design team in creating mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is met.
* Conduct site surveys and assist in measuring and documenting existing spaces.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
* Research materials, finishes, and furniture to support design concepts.
* Stay updated with industry trends, design innovations, and building regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

* Education:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
* Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), or equivalent.
* Strong visual, spatial, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced design environment.

Desirable Attributes

* Knowledge of sustainable design principles and current interior design trends.
* Basic understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction processes.
* Portfolio showcasing academic or internship projects in space planning or interior design.
