Medical Rotational Programme rotations include: AMU, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Respiratory, Care of the Elderly, Cardiology, and Gastroenterology.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will join a supportive multidisciplinary team in a modern, well-equipped unit. George Eliot Hospital is affiliated with the University of Warwick Medical School and offers excellent professional and academic facilities, including the George Eliot Training and Education Centre (GETEC).

Job description and responsibilities
* Coordinate communication with hospital departments, GPs, and external agencies.
* Cover for colleagues' absences, including on-call duties, with additional hours paid according to national rates.
* Participate in training, supervise medical students, and engage in clinical audit, journal club, and departmental teaching.

Person Specification
Experience and Knowledge
* Broad clinical experience in General/Acute Medicine
* Knowledge of medical audit, education, and current best practices
* Experience in completing audit cycles and clinical research
Qualifications and Professional
* MRCP or MRCS for ST3
* ALS Certification
* Full GMC Registration with license to practice
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to advise on service efficiency
* Experience in teaching and training students
* Ability to apply research to clinical practice
Personal Qualities
* Enquiring, critical approach; ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
* Credible, persuasive presence among colleagues
