About the Role
:
As a Multi Skilled Operative with MPS you will be working on our Major Repairs team on larger jobs (Anything that takes more than a day) out supporting residents with reactive repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties, working from ‘job’ to ‘job’, on your planned route with a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks.
You’ll need plenty of previous experience and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to excel in this role, meeting new people and delivering high standards of work and service are key.
Although the role is based in Croydon, there is travel in and around Medway/Chatham also. A company van and fuel card is provided for the travel.
Role Criteria:
1. Extensive on the job experience in multiple trades such as Plumbing, Joinery, Tiling, Plastering, Decorating, Bathroom & Kitchen Fitting etc.
2. Hold a Full UK Driving License
3. Have own power tools
4. Be a great team player as well the ability to work under your own initiative
5. Excellent communication and Customer service skills
6. Ideally hold a trade qualification especially if you don't have much first hand experience

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your license over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
