What skills and experience we're looking for
To provide high-level support to the Headteacher and Governors in the day-to-day management of the school’s budget, administration, and site. The School Business Manager will lead on financial planning and resource management, personnel matters, health and safety, recruitment, and the effective coordination of key contracts such as maintenance, cleaning, and caretaking.
The post holder will also play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the school’s administrative systems and financial sustainability, ensuring the school operates efficiently and effectively at all times.
What we're looking for:
1. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
3. Proven ability to lead/organise teams and manage projects
4. FMS/Dynamics and My People experience (desirable, not essential)
5. Ability to collaborate with all key stakeholders (staff, governors, parents, outside agencies, and the Local Authority) with warmth, diplomacy, and discretion
