Role Purpose
The Workplace Concierge is a confident and highly visible ambassador for the workplace, delivering outstanding customer service and creating positive, seamless and memorable experiences for colleagues, clients and visitors.
From the very first welcome to the final farewell, you ensure every interaction is effortless, polished and impactful. You blend warmth with professionalism, efficiency with elegance, and hospitality with operational excellence.

What You'll Be Known For:
1. Creating Exceptional Experiences
o Delivering an engaging, confident and genuinely warm welcome to every visitor and colleague.
o Operating with a proactive “How can I help?” mindset that turns everyday moments into standout experiences.
o Anticipating needs before they arise and responding with pace, precision and care.
o Building trusted relationships with senior clients, executives and VIP guests.
o Owning the lobby space, setting the standard for presentation, energy and professionalism.
o Managing visitor flow with confidence, ensuring smooth, seamless arrivals and departures.
o Curating tailored recommendations for dining, travel, hotels and local experiences.
o Coordinating taxis, chauffeur services, bookings and reservations with meticulous attention to detail.

2. Elevating Meetings & Events
o Delivering flawlessly prepared meeting and executive spaces that reflect premium standards.
o Ensuring every detail — AV, lighting, refreshments, room layout; is executed to perfection.
o Supporting high-profile meetings and events with confidence and discretion.
o Acting as first-line support for AV and IT, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
o Resetting spaces efficiently so they are always presentation-ready.

3. Driving Operational Excellence
o Managing visitor registration, access control and compliance with absolute accuracy.
o Conducting proactive floor walks to identify opportunities to enhance the workplace environment.
o Logging, tracking and resolving service requests to ensure no detail is overlooked.
o Coordinating contractors and suppliers smoothly, protecting the client experience at all times.
o Maintaining stock, signage and shared spaces to consistently high standards.
o Supporting mailroom services and workplace logistics with efficiency and ownership.

4. Championing Service Innovation
o Driving service excellence in line with SLAs, KPIs and SOPs — and confidently challenging when standards slip.
o Identifying smarter, more impactful ways to enhance service delivery.
o Contributing ideas that improve the contract, elevate the client experience and strengthen partnerships.
o Collaborating across service lines as One Mitie, ensuring seamless delivery.

5. Protecting Safety & Trust
o Maintaining a secure, compliant and professional environment at all times.
o Supporting emergency procedures and acting decisively when needed.

o Proven experience in Customer service either hospitality, concierge or corporate reception.
o Natural gravitas and the ability to engage effortlessly with all guests.
o Impeccable personal presentation and pride in professional standards.
o Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask with composure.
o A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
o Strong digital confidence across Outlook, Teams, Word and workplace systems (Maximo, Condeco, Eptura or similar).
o The ability to stay calm, agile and positive in a fast-paced environment.
