You'll work closely with project managers, business leaders, and engineering and operations teams to build high-quality plans, forecast resource needs, and deliver actionable insights through data. What You'll Be Doing: Shape early-stage initiative planning for both product and business change projects, ensuring proposals are well scoped, resourced, and in line with strategic priorities for production and product innovation. Build and maintain dashboards and planning tools (e.g., Power BI) to deliver forward-looking analysis that supports governance boards in making informed, timely decisions across product development and manufacturing operations. Collaborate with engineering, production, and business teams to coordinate resource planning, ensuring capacity aligns with project and operational demands. Ensure all project and programme data is accurate, timely, and meets standards, driving continuous improvement in how projects are prioritised, estimated, and executed within a manufacturing setting. Provide guidance on estimation, scoping, and planning for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and manufacturing timelines. Collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and functional heads to monitor and balance demand and capacity across portfolios. Oversee the maintenance of high-quality planning data and support the use of appropriate tools for schedule, cost, and resource tracking. Facilitate portfolio planning reviews and support strategic prioritisation processes in line with production capability and go-to-market objectives. What We're Looking For in a Projects Analyst: Proven experience in a senior planning or portfolio analyst role within a manufacturing or product development environment. Deep understanding of project lifecycles, from concept and design to production and delivery. Strong skills in resource planning, capacity modelling, and portfolio governance. Ability to deliver insights and reporting using tools such as Power BI and Excel. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
