Job Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our reception and administration team to support the smooth running of the practice. You will be working with an established team, supporting the clinical staff on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities

* Undertake a wide range of reception duties and provide high quality administrative support to our practice team.
* Manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain excellent time management.
* Support the coding department for a combined total of 37.5 hours per week (15 hours reception, 22.5 hours coding).
* Use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel on a regular basis.
* Provide an enthusiastic and friendly service to patients and staff.


Experience and Qualifications

* Previous administrative experience in a busy environment (essential).
* Experience of working within the NHS or similar healthcare setting (desirable).
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.


Skills

* Excellent organisational skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* Good interpersonal skills and an approachable attitude.
* Effective problem‑solving ability.
* Capacity to work unsupervised when required.


Working Pattern & Contract

* Contract: Permanent.
* Pattern: Full‑time or part‑time (up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for part‑time or job share).


Salary

Salary determined by experience.
