About Our Client
This role reports into senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to managers, driving best practice, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive delivery across all aspects of People Services
Job Description
3. Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding
4. Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence management
5. Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment legislation
6. Support organisational development initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, and culture development
7. Oversee learning and development activities and identify training needs
8. Manage payroll liaison and employee benefits administration
9. Lead on engagement initiatives and staff wellbeing programmes
10. Monitor HR metrics and provide reporting to senior management
Ensure legal compliance and maintain accurate HR records and systemsSupport change management and organisational restructuring where required
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for:
11. A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challengesProven experience in a generalist HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role
12. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
13. Experience managing complex employee relations cases
14. CIPD Level 5 (minimum) or working towards CIPD Level 7
15. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
16. Ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels
17. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
18. Comfortable working both strategically and operationally
