Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Rochdale
Pay Rate: £16.16 to £19.29 p/h
Shifts: 4 on 4 off with AM starts (02:00 to 06:00)
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time or flexible shifts – we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
* Safely operate Class 2 vehicles on planned routes
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
* Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to stores
o 4 to 8 drops per day
o Tote deliveries (moving the totes to the rear of the truck only - store staff will unload from there)
* Follow all driving laws and company procedures
* Represent the company professionally at client sites
What You Need:
1. A valid UK HGV Class 2 Licence
2. A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card
3. A valid Digital Tachograph card
4. Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)
5. A professional attitude and good communication skills
