About the Role:
As the Managing Director, you will be the strategic and operational leader of Sharp Manufacturing Company UK. Reporting directly to Sharp Corporation Japan, you will ensure alignment with global corporate strategy and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shape Strategic Direction:Define and implement medium- and long-term business strategies aligned with the broader European vision.
* Drive Sustainable Growth:Lead initiatives to grow the business amidst evolving market conditions by exploring new channels, products, services, technologies, and markets.
* Balance Profitability Goals:Collaborate with European leadership to align local, regional, and corporate profitability objectives, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
* Set Clear Business Priorities:Establish actionable short- and medium-term priorities that support the successful execution of the strategic plan.
* Monitor Performance Metrics:Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against strategic goals and business priorities.
* Communicate Strategy Effectively:Ensure consistent communication of strategy, priorities, and performance updates to local teams, senior management, and Japan stakeholders.
