Personal and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication skills, good administrative ability, leadership qualities, and being a good team player are essential. Sub-Wardens are expected to demonstrate a commitment to the community spirit of the Hall, dedicating roughly 14 hours per week to the role.
Accommodation and Catering Arrangements: Free accommodation is provided throughout the year, subject to fulfilling shift requirements. The accommodation is suitable for a single person with basic self-catering facilities. Free meals are available on weekdays and weekends during term time. The successful applicant is encouraged to engage with Hall students where possible.
Training and Orientation: The successful candidate must attend Sub-Warden training sessions, including First Aid Training and the Annual Sub-Warden Training, scheduled for 15th-17th September 2025. It is recommended that candidates research the role and lifestyle, including exploring the website or contacting the Towers Warden Team. For more insight, candidates are welcome to meet the team at Towers Common Room on Thursday, 14th August at 16:15. Please note this session will not be recorded.

* A 1-2 page letter outlining your suitability for the role.

Interviews will be held during the week of 25th August 2025. The successful candidate should be prepared to start in the week of 15th September 2025 or earlier. Additionally, the selected applicant will need to take a day off from studies on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, to assist during First Years Arrivals Day.
