HPC Compressed Air Systems seeks skilled professionals to join its team as Service Engineers. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' compressed air equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out hands-on preventative and reactive maintenance of compressors and related systems and components.
* Plan and complete maintenance tasks in a cost-effective, timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with procedural and documentary requirements.
* Submit accurate Service Reports, Time Sheets, and other documents required for efficient departmental operations.
* Display flexibility in undertaking various tasks to optimize available labor in the Service Department.
* Maintain full and responsible communications with customers and HPC concerning allocated jobs and movements.
* Solve technical and safety issues.
* Foster an atmosphere of 'Safe Working', ensuring colleagues understand their responsibilities and obligations in contributing to a safe working environment.
* Undertake training on products when required, both in the UK and Germany.
* Be available for emergency out-of-hours duty as per the emergency call-out rota.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Field service engineer and industrial engineering experience.
* Working background in servicing rotating machinery.
* Mechanical/electrical experience.
* IT literacy.
Requirements:
* A formal technical training (HND/HNC or equivalent) is required, along with a minimum of two years' practical experience working with industrial rotating equipment.
* Possess a sound background of working with industrial rotating machines in a service industry, demonstrating clear and effective hand skills and thinking.
* A current driving license is essential.
* Direct experience and a working history of the Compressed Air Industry would be ideal.
