We re seeking a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) for a vibrant SEMH/ASC specialist secondary school in Wokingham (postcode RG40 2HR please enter this in the location field). This is a full-time, permanent leadership post offering TLR, CPD, and strong team collaboration.

Responsibilities of the SENCO:
* Lead and develop the SEND policy and provision across the school

* Support, mentor and line-manage support staff and teaching team
* Liaise with parents, agencies, local authority (Wokingham SENCO Hub) and therapists
* Monitor SEND data and drive targeted interventions and outcomes
Essential criteria:
* Qualified Teacher Status and SENCO National Award essential
* Proven experience leading SEMH/ASC provision in a UK setting
* Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and multi-agency protocols
* Excellent communication, data-analysis, and team leadership skills
* Passionate about inclusive education and emotional wellbeing
