Part-Time Finance Director | Nottinghamshire | 2–3 days | Equity potential
Exclusive opportunity with a confidential, owner-led group looking to appoint a part-time Finance Director to support the next phase of growth.
This is a well-established business with a strong track record and solid operational footing. It’s not a turnaround. It’s about bringing in a commercially focused FD to help drive performance, shape direction and support continued growth.
You’ll work directly with the Managing Director, acting as a true strategic partner across the business.
The opportunity:
* Employed part-time Finance Director role
* Based across Nottinghamshire
* 2–3 days per week with hybrid working
* Very flexible hours to suit the individual
* Salary is flexible depending on experience
* Potential for equity
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing strategic financial leadership to the MD and wider business
* Driving margin improvement and overall profitability
* Supporting commercial decision-making and business planning
* Leading on financial due diligence for potential acquisitions
* Interpreting performance and identifying where value can be unlocked
* Challenging and influencing at senior level
This is not a hands-on reporting role. The finance function is already in place. Your focus will be on insight, direction and impact.
What they’re looking for:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Proven experience operating at Finance Director level
* Strong commercial instinct and ability to influence an owner-led business
* Experience supporting growth and driving performance
* Exposure to acquisitions or financial due diligence would be beneficial
