Senior Solutions Consultant – Digital Commerce
About the Project
We are hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant to join a leading branded commerce consultancy delivering enterprise-scale digital commerce transformation programmes.
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. We are looking for someone who can challenge, shape, and elevate client requirements — not simply document them.
You will work across business, technology, and operations to help enterprise retailers define scalable commerce solutions that are technically sound, commercially viable, and operationally realistic.
If a client requests a feature such as “next-day delivery,” you’ll explore fulfilment operations, warehouse capabilities, platform limitations, integration implications, and commercial trade-offs — ensuring the final solution works end-to-end across the business.
This role requires someone with strong consulting capability, stakeholder presence, and deep expertise in at least one enterprise commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions to uncover true business needs
* Challenge assumptions and guide clients toward more effective solutions
* Translate complex business requirements into scalable end-to-end commerce solutions
* Facilitate collaboration across technical, operational, and commercial teams
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
* Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility
* Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous business and technical challenges
* Drive alignment between platform capabilities and operational realities
* Help enterprise retailers optimise digital commerce experiences and operations
Key Requirements

Experience
* Proven experience in a Solutions Consultant / Product / Business Consultant type role
* Strong preference for candidates with brand-side (client-side) experience
e.g. Product Owner, eCommerce Manager, Digital Lead
Experience working on commerce platforms, with deep expertise in at least one of:
* Shopify (preferred)
* Salesforce Commerce Cloud (specific clouds/modules clearly defined)
* Adobe Commerce (Magento)
* SAP Commerce
* commercetools
* BigCommerce
Platform Expertise
* Depth over breadth — clear, hands-on experience with one primary platform
* Ability to speak in specifics, not generalities (e.g. features, modules, limitations, integrations)
