Role overview

Job Title: Football Development Officer (U16 - U19 Boys)

Salary: £25k - £28k + Benefits

Contract Type: Permanent

Line Manager:Football Development Manager (U16-U19)

The role will lead and deliver daily in the Foundation’s U16 – U19’s Boys Football Education Programme, working together with the other Football Development Officer and reporting to the Football Development Manager. In addition, the role will support and work with the lead of the Sports Coaching Programme and the Boys Football Development Manager (U6 – U16) in the delivery of our other pathway programmes.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential

* Knowledge of theFoundations football development pathway.
* Experience and knowledge of leading and working within football and education programmes (16-19)
* Experience of coaching and developing male players
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young people
* Experience with working towards financial and student-related key performance indicators
* Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work evenings and weekends

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable

* FA Level 3/UEFA B Qualification
* Strong understand of safeguarding, health & safety & Risk assessments
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
