At New Hall, we are committed to providing an outstanding education within a safe, supportive, and transparent community. As part of this commitment, we are seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, accountability, and trust that underpin our School.
This is a new position that combines three essential strands: compliance oversight, internal complaints management, and data governance. The postholder will lead the School's compliance framework, providing assurance to the Principal and Governors that statutory, legal, and inspection obligations are met consistently.
About the School
New Hall is a Catholic independent boarding & day school for girls and boys aged 1‑18. The school operates a "diamond model" where students are educated in co‑educational classes from ages 1 to 11 and in single‑sex lessons at Sixth Form. The school is located on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex, and offers a supportive community in a historic Grade I listed building.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances. New Hall is committed to safeguarding students, and an enhanced DBS check will be required prior to appointment.
