Overview
A Permanent Recruitment Consultant role within the Food and FMCG division. The successful candidate will join an established UK recruitment company represented by Aurora Samuel’s Associates - R2R Specialists. This role offers a competitive salary and opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities
* Resource relevant candidates for clients and plan to support your desk with a diverse candidate pool.
* Proactively communicate with clients via regular calls, service visits, surveys, and mailshots to identify current and anticipated needs, sourcing candidates from the database or via job boards and social media.
* Continuously identify and anticipate candidate requirements on your desk.
* Maintain and grow the candidate database with appropriate contact frequency and outreach.
* Demonstrate project knowledge and industry insight during client and candidate interactions.
* Optimise digital platforms, including social media, to establish new connections.
* Explore international talent opportunities as a client solution.
* Implement an achievable annual desk business plan reflecting sales growth.
* Meet daily, weekly, monthly, and annual productivity and sales targets to achieve high fulfilment of candidate and client service levels.
* Keep up-to-date records across systems according to policy and procedures.
* Gain and maintain food industry insight and keep up to date with current trends, industry challenges, legislation, competitors, and local knowledge.
* Adhere to compliance and relevant legislation.
* Report to the Permanent Head of Recruitment on improvements, findings, and terminated contracts monthly.
* Network to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities, including sharing temporary and interim opportunities with team members.
* Manage complaints in a professional and effective way per company policy.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work protocols consistently.
* Contribute to training colleagues as required.
Salary and Benefits
* Competitive salary: £35,000 depending on experience.
* Commission opportunity up to 30% of billing.
