Cheshire West and Chester Council's Digital, Data and Technology (DDAT) department is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Junior Data Engineer to support the implementation of data flows and connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systems. There will be a focus on re-engineering manual data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use of data and automate core business intelligence reports, particularly to support statutory returns. The Junior Data Engineer will support other Data Engineers in building accessible data for on-going analysis by Data Scientist and Business Analysts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created and progressive team with big ambitions for the future. This role is a Grade 6, £27,269 - £30,060 (as of April 2024 pay band figures).
