Here at Driver Hire Southampton we are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on behalf of our clients specialising in general haulage deliveries.

About this Class 1 Night role:
AD HOC ongoing work varied between Monday to Friday
Start times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (10-12-hour shifts)
Deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage goods
Driving a Class 1 curtain sider (sometimes may be on a double decker)
One delivery to main hub in the midlands
Pallets are forklifted off the vehicle
Requirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:
Full UK Class 1 licence
Valid CPC and Digi card
Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
Great communication skills
Strapping experience
Experience with curtain sider trailers/ general haulage deliveries
Own transport to commute to and from work
Fantastic time keeping and communications skills
Complete daily vehicle checks
Comply with the company's health and safety procedures
Record Tacho hours correctly
