Driveline's head office and main operating base is just outside St Austell in London Apprentice. It also has an office and workshop in Plymouth and runs the MOT Station at Par. At our head office in London Apprentice, St Austell, we are looking for an Engineering Department Stock Stores Operative on a full-time basis.
About the role:
* Key Roles & Responsibilities Include:
* Manage goods in, stock, returns and warranties.
* Update daily stock records and maintain upkeep of stores organisation.
* Performing sectioned monthly stock-takes and resolving discrepancies - if any
* Working alongside workshop mechanical team for parts ordering and requirements.
* Ordering parts and stock as required from suppliers.
* Cost control for parts including comparing cost between suppliers.
* Processing of delivery notes, purchase invoices, returns notes/stock returns and credit notes.
* General assistance on administrative tasks within the department.
* Holiday/absence cover on the Engineering front desk, including telephone cover.
* Additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
This role would suit a well organised individual.
Previous workshop-based experience is preferred but not essential.
The post is full-time - Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm (45 hours per week).
