Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors and Trainee Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cheltenham and the surrounding rural areas.
As a preferred supplier to many local secondary schools, Tradewind offers excellent opportunities for the right candidates - meaning consistent and ongoing work if you have the right skills and attitude.
Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, a graduate or aspiring teacher, a parent returning to work, or someone with experience working with young people in another setting, we'd love to hear from you!
🚗 Please note: Driving is essential for this role.
Many of our partner schools are in rural locations, so you must be happy to travel up to 45 minutes for suitable work.

🧑🏫 Your Role:
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Keeping students engaged, motivated, and focused
* Supporting school staff and ensuring smooth lesson continuity

🎓 Who We're Looking For:
* Experienced Cover Supervisors or those keen to train
* Graduates or individuals considering a career in teaching
* People with experience working with young people (youth work, coaching, volunteering, parenting, etc.)
* Confident, friendly communicators with a professional attitude
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable individuals
* Drivers with access to a vehicle

We provide FREE CPD, full training, and ongoing support to help you build confidence and succeed in the classroom.

💼 What We Offer:
* Ongoing work 3-5 days per week (term time only)
* Flexible roles to suit your availability
* Competitive pay based on experience and role
* Typical annual earnings of £19,500 - £27,300 (based on 39 weeks per year)
