Citizens Advice Mid Mercia is looking for a full‑time Assessor to join its Advice Team. The role involves taking calls on the advice line, completing client assessments, booking clients for appointments, and holding advice appointments.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills
* Effective time‑management and strong attention to detail
* Ability to complete tasks to the highest quality
* Ability to monitor and maintain own standards, ensuring work is accurate
* Experience in a public‑facing role
Responsibilities / Key Tasks
* Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow them to explain their problems and set their own priorities
* Interpret information and present options to clients
* Maintain confidentiality, use discretion and sound judgement in all responsibilities

Essentials
* Salary: £24,784.50 per annum
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full‑time)

* Contract: fixed‑term until 31 March 2027 with possible extension dependent on funding
