Main duties of the job

This post Band 6 Senior PWP NHS Northamptonshire Talking Therapies

* Supporting staff to deliver Step 2 interventions within the Talking Therapies service
* Providing high quality supervision, support and a focus on wellbeing for staff providing low-intensity interventions within the service
* Offer expert clinical support and guidance to Step 2 staff
* To have overall clinical responsibility for the delivery of Step 2 interventions
* To ensure National Talking Therapies standards are met
* To contribute to learning and development of Step 2 low intensity workers
* To provide some clinical intervention at step 2 for people with common mental health problems, both in-person and via telephone and video appointments

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

* PG Cert LI Interventions
* Low intensity Supervisors course


Experience

* Experience of a Supervisory role or of supervising others.
