PMO Manager (SC Cleared) – Portfolio Governance & Delivery
Location: UK / Hybrid (WFH and London)
Day rate: £540 per day (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: Active SC /NPPV Clearance required before the start
We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead the Account PMO function supporting a major programme environment. This role will focus on establishing strong governance, portfolio visibility, delivery standards, and executive reporting to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, programme managers, and delivery teams to ensure projects are prioritised, tracked, and delivered effectively across the account.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Account PMO, ensuring strong governance, standards, and delivery frameworks.
* Provide portfolio oversight, tracking project progress, risks, dependencies, and financial performance.
* Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision making.
* Support project prioritisation, resource planning, and delivery performance across the portfolio.
* Facilitate governance forums and steering committees with senior stakeholders.
* Lead and develop a team of PMO analysts, project managers, and coordinators
Key Requirements
* 7+ years’ experience in Project / Programme Management environments.
* 3+ years managing a PMO or portfolio delivery function.
* Strong experience in project governance, reporting frameworks, and portfolio oversight.
* Experience working within large, complex delivery environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Desirable
* Experience working within BPO, outsourcing, or managed service environments.
* Certifications such as MSP, PMQ, PRINCE2, ChPP or PMO qualifications.
