Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £90 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

A friendly and inclusive school in Mansfield is looking for a proactive and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide full-time classroom support. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's learning and development.
Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who may need additional help.
* Assist with classroom management, preparation of learning resources, and displays
* Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting observations to teaching staff.
* Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
* Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development as needed.
Job Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school or childcare setting is desirable.
* A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or childcare) are beneficial.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
